Provider
Brice Philaire, sole trader (EI). Contact: contact@roadtosouthafrica.com.
Scope
These terms apply to Focus, Motion and Full Story photography and video packages purchased through the Road to South Africa website. Packages are reserved for athletes competing in the Open category and are not available for Youth events.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in euros and are payable in full through Stripe when the order is placed. The applicable price is the one displayed before payment.
Minimum funding threshold
The trip is conditional upon reaching a minimum funding threshold of €2,500 by 18 October 2026. If this threshold is not reached, the trip will be cancelled and all package purchases and project contributions will be refunded in full.
Organisation and delivery
Coverage is organised according to the athlete’s confirmed programme, competition conditions and access permissions. Complete delivery takes place after the competition through a private online gallery. The Full Story package also includes 3 to 5 photos delivered each evening, subject to competition and technical conditions.
Withdrawal and cancellation
Where the customer is legally entitled to withdraw, the statutory withdrawal period is fourteen days from the conclusion of the contract. Any request must be sent to contact@roadtosouthafrica.com. If the service begins before the end of that period at the customer’s express request, the rules applicable to services already begun or fully performed will apply. Cancellation by an athlete outside the statutory withdrawal period will be assessed according to the date of the request and costs already incurred.
Image use
Delivered content may be used on the athlete’s personal and sporting communication channels. Copyright remains with Brice Philaire. Resale, transfer to third parties, commercial advertising use or substantial alteration requires prior written authorisation. Credit “Brice Philaire” or “@brice_philaire” must accompany publication wherever reasonably possible.
Liability and force majeure
The provider cannot guarantee coverage of every event where schedules overlap or where access, safety, weather, technical or organisational constraints prevent shooting. In the event of force majeure, the parties will seek an appropriate postponement, adaptation or refund solution.
Consumer mediation and applicable law
These terms are governed by French law.
